Tang v Ballinagore
Tang opened up their Intermediate championship campaign with a victory over Ballinagore on Saturday evening in Rosemount.
Tang started brightly in the first half and played some fine football in miserable conditions. Tang picked off points through Aidan Burke, Conor Marlow and Martin and John Rock to lead by ten points to two at half time.
Although Ballinagore threatened to stage a fight back with an early second half goal Tang responded quickly with a goal through Niall Neary. Further points from Martin Rock, John Rock, Aidan Burke and Conor Marlow left Tang with a comfortable lead. Niall Bannon finished the scoring with a well taken goal.
The score at the final whistle was 2-17 to 1-02.
