Intermediate cup
TANG 2-12
BALLYNACARRIGY 3-06
Tang got the years football off to a winning start against a dogged Ballynacargy team in Tang on Sunday. Poor weather conditions and a wet pitch made for heavy going but a good game of ball was on offer for the supporters brave enough to come to joe fox park.
Early goals by martin rock and Niall Bannon had tang ahead in the first half but Ballynacargy rallied and clawed back some well taken scores.Five goals scored in all kept this game ticking nicely but tangs better point taking had them ahead at the final whistle.
A good opening display for tang lots of work yet to be done and thanks to Ballynacargy for a good game of ball.
